The Camera Cuisine Story

My name is Carol Capka Jones, and I’m a devout “foodie” and accomplished food stylist. Quite a while ago, a photographer friend who knew of my love to create in the kitchen asked me if I could prepare a sumptuous dish to appear in Bon Appetit magazine. I jumped at the opportunity and never looked back! In the years since, I’ve had the great pleasure of preparing on-camera food for a variety of television shows, films, magazines, and book covers. It is truly a pleasure to bring every producer’s or editor’s vision to life!

My very talented business partner, Janet Spies, has worked with me for the past 15 years. Whether a project requires one or both of us, Camera Cuisine approaches every eye-pleasing assignment with creativity and imagination. We take care of every detail, from shopping and preparation to execution and cleanup. No job is too large or too small, and we especially love the challenge of creating something unique and different when the situation calls for it.
